Rick Steenerson, ABYC Certified Marine Electrical Technician

For Rick Steenerson, Polaris Marine is the best of all possible worlds, combining a love for boating and penchant for electronics and mechanics together with his entrepreneurial skills. Rick started out in Minnesota working as a telephone technician and owner-operator of Steenerson Brass Bed Company. Fittingly, in 1980, he sailed into Florida and left corporate bureaucracy to pursue his nautical passion. Rick is a licensed Yacht Captain who has worked on private yachts, as well as commercial boats. In 1983, he saw the need and had the skills to design and install nautical electrical systems. Initially, Rick operated solo from a small rental shop. With each successive project, the demand for his expert services and the size of the vessels grew with the associated addition of employees. Since 2000, Polaris Marine has focused on the design of systems for yachts over 100 feet. Rick and his team of professionals have served the North Florida area for many years with unmatched workmanship and dependability. The growth of the company has neither diminished his passion for perfection nor the personal attention he devotes to each project.
