Joel Morais, ABYC Certified Marine Electrical Technician

Joel’s teenage fascination in “putting things together” guided his educational and career choices. This Lisbon native is multilingual, fluent in English and Portuguese with an understanding of French, Italian and Spanish. Electrical terminology and statistical algorithms were simply other languages for Joel to master. Joel has extensive design experience in varied industries culminating with marine engineering. Polaris Marine provided the perfect marriage of his engineering talents with his love of boating. With his engineering expertise, Joel masterfully designs electrical systems including wiring diagrams and schematics for projects. Morais spends his free time with his wife and daughter enjoying their horse and, of course, boating.
